About the Book
Pareidolia is the phenomenon of seeing abstract patterns or shapes in randomness. It describes the ability to see, for example, clouds that look like animals floating by or a grinning face in the grain of wood. Everyday objects can be transformed into mysterious beings and are more easily visible during relaxed moments.
Several examples of pareidolia are included in this book by linking seemingly disparate images next to each other. At first glance, they may seem to have nothing in common. On closer inspection, you may begin to recognize sequences, patterns and colors that link the two separate photographs. Relax and let your brain roam freely and see how many you can find.
