About the Book
John P. Greene lived from 1793 - 1844. He was a brother-in-law of Brigham Young and a close, trusted friend of Joseph Smith. He helped build up the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in its early days and suffered along with other members of the Church during the trials of that period. John was a common man who lived through some extraordinary times and events.
