I grew up in Washington DC with an architech father and a school director mother. I got my biomedical engineering degree from Boston University in 1995. I then moved to Chicago for work and have generally been here ever since (still working for the same company, I did a stint in England for 6 months and Washington DC for about a year). In 2008 I graduated from Kellogg with an MBA. I started really getting into photography in 2005. It has been exciting to learn new techniques, see what other people are doing and figure out different ways to share my images and ideas.
